I am an English language teacher resident in Japan. I purchased a FSPro camera stabiliser after careful review of the alternatives, Since making the purchase, however, I have been in demand as a cameraman to take all manner of videos, due to professional look of (me) the user when wearing the FSPro and the hovering stability of the shots that I am able to take.

The FSPro steadicam is extremely well made and clearly of high quality and precision. It does the job very well, stabilising a camera excellently. I have only used it on a few outings but I am already taking shots that make people say "Wow!" |
One similar product (that is considerably more expensive) that I reviewed had a back mounted harness and I was tempted to purchase it for that reason. The solidity and support of the FSPro harness is such, however, that one does not feel that the harness is attached to ones front. The harness distributes the weight of the arm and camera over the whole torso. The best part about it is the obvious quality, durability and precision of the contruction.
I feel confident in recommending the FSPro to professionals.And, I recommend that those reading this review make their purchases soon, because this quality and build of this product is such that it clearly deserves to command a considerably higher price.
At the same time, as mentioned above, the quality and fit of the harness is such that even with little practice, I have felt comfortable wearing the FSPro and camera for more than one hour. When I take it off I feel very light, but when I am wearing the FSPro I soon forget about the weight due to the excitement of being able to take the stable, hovering shots that the product enables.
All in all, I am extremely pleased with my purchase. I can safely recommend this product to anyone.
Really, the FSPro is the business, no mistake.
